Ground crew use the tailplane of a wrecked Junkers Ju 88 as a workbench at Celone, Puglia, Italy. Handley Page Halifax Mark II Series 1A, JN894 'Y', of No. 614 Squadron RAF stands on a dispersal covered with pierced steel planking (PSP) behind. The No. 614 Squadron was based at Celone from 3 March to 10 May 1944. His Italian last base was Foggia-Amendola, Victor Sierra
