Convoy at Iceland

Merchant vessels assemble along the coastline near Hvalford, Iceland preparing to sail for Russia at dusk that evening. The convoy will sail at dusk. A striking silhouette of the convoy at it's rendezvous, waiting for the order to sail. All these ships are loaded with vital war supplies for Russia. The convoy itself consists of American and British ships. The picture was taken from the HMS Victorious.
