Mitford hero, largely forgotten.

Lady Diana Mosley and her brother, the Honorable Thomas (Tom) Mitford, attend a Neuremberg Rally. Tom was only son and heir to the Redsdale title, but was destined not to succeed to it on his father's death in 1958. Though pretty right-wing in politics, Tom was no Nazi. When Britain went to war with Germany, he joined the British Army and served with credit through the war. He was killed in action in Burma, 1945. Major Tom Mitford was 36 years of age at the time of his death. Best regards, JR.
