No information on this picture, perhaps of Battle of Britain. We have two alternatives to the caption:
1. A Spitfire about to give the “coup de grâce” for its prey, an He 111.
2. A Spitfire respectfully waiting for its wounded prey (a He 111) to give the fatal plunge down into the sea.
