Clostermann, who was French, was one of the RFA's top-scoring aces during WW2. His score: 33 kills/12 probables, 24 destroyed on the ground, 62 locomotives, 125 trucks and other vehicles, 5 tanks, 2 motor torpedo boats, other various targets including an oil refinery. Author of a fascinating book ('The Big Show'), based on his war diary . He died in 2006.
