Near El Adem, turn-off of the Bardia Road, Libya, May 1941. A broken propeller blade and a wooden cross mark the grave of the Sergeant J.H.G Webster, Hurricane’s pilot of the No 73 Squadron Royal Air Force, killed in action on 14 April 1941. Nearby the grave the wreck, completely burned, of his plane. Two private of Headquarters, 26th Australian Infantry Brigade, pay their respects. Victor Sierra
