The Nomonhan Incident

"Battle on the Banks of the Khalkha, Nomonhan" painting by Fujita Tsuguharu 1941 shows a dramatic panoramic view of a battle scene in which Japanese soldiers attack Soviet tanks at the border of Manchuria and Mongolia in July 1939.
