Spanish "Heinkels" head for Britain in a scene from the 1969 British movie, "Battle of Britain". Nobody could deny that this movie has its faults. However, the aerial sequences are very impressive. Some have complained about the fact that the special effects technology does not match current standards (an unhistorical observation, if ever there was one). Against that, the determination of the producers to use the most authentic aircraft and equipment possible is most positively impressive. Actually, apart from some finishing sequences, most of the action sequences in the movie were filmed over Spain and France, rather than over Britain. Best regards, JR.
