Gino Boccasile.

Gino Boccasile (1901-1952), skilled advertising and magazine illustrator turned wartime Fascist/pro-German propagandist. I have to say that I find his propaganda works a great deal more striking than most of his non-propaganda output. Apropros the thick glasses - Boccasile was perhaps unfortunate for someone of his talents in having poor eyesight in general, and in having lost one eye in a childhood accident in particular.
