Brazilian Expeditionary Force

Brazil was the only South American country to send troops to fight in the Second World War. About 25,700 men and women arranged by the Army and Air Force to fight alongside the Allied forces. The shoulder insignia is a response to Brazilian Dictator who sad "it's more likely for snakes to start to smoke than Brazil enter in war". They had lost 480 men killed, 2064 wounded and 34 MIAs. On the other hand, the BEF captured 20, 573 prisoners prior to the end of the war. Obrigado-Overlord
