This is a V-Mail from a unknown member of the crew of the USS Polaris (AF-11), a Type C2 Liberty fleet freighter. At the time the card was written the ship was enroute from the Panama Canal Zone to Enewetak, Saipan, Tinian, and Apra before returning to Seattle, Washington, 9 January 1945.
