14 May 1938 - England and Germany friendly football (soccer) international, Olympic Stadium, Berlin.  By request of the Foreign Office, England players join their German couonterparts in delivering the "German Greeting" (Nazi salute) before the game.  England won the game 6-3.  In another sense, it might be said that Dr Goebbels won the match ... Best regards, JR.
