"Most modern", perhaps but, as far as dive-bombing was concerned, this must be an illustration of the madness of the obsession with the dive-bombing capacity of prospective Luftwaffe aeroplanes shared by Goering and Udet, that had little regard for the size of the aircraft or its utility in other roles.  I really would hate have to pilot an aircraft of this type in a calculated steep dive ... a Stuka would have been bad enough!  JR.
