A very rare example of a jet with forward-swept wings. Actually built and flown as a proto-type at Brandis near Leipzig in April 1944. Forward sweep was used in an attempt to increase the wing's critical mach-number without meeting the wing-tip stall problems encountered with swept back wings, as a planned speed of Mach .8 or .85 was expected !
