She followed her two brothers, my father and my uncle to serve in WWII

My fathers sister Aunt US Army Surgical Nurse WWII

Joined the SS Totenkopf in 1941. Trained in France then spent the most of the war on the Eastern Front. Eventually surrendered to the Americans at the end of the war, but was given over to the Russians. Never to be  heard from again. Likely murdered by Russians, shortly after.
