T/Sgt Raymond A. Heilman USSAC 1937-45

My father was at Hickam on 12/7/1941 when the Japanese Attacked. He served in the 11 TH BGH the 42 SQ. Admiral McCain awarded the 42 SQ the same DUC for Guadalcanal that the Marines received. It was the first time one US branch nominated and awarded their own DUC to another branch of the US military.
