The Wifes Great Uncle, the back of the postcard reads,"souvenir du Marcel Leprevost. Mort pour la France le 17 June 1940". 
In memory of Marcel died for France June 17 1940.

This is the armband the Wife's Grandfather wore on liberation day when he fought the Germans. They were in a fire fight with an Officer who killed the soldier on one side of him and wounded one the other. If his MP hadn't jammed the old man thought he would have been killed too. The German escaped in his car.
