A formation of Japanese Mitsubishi G3M (Type 96) bombers in flight over the territory of China. The Allied code name for them was "Nell". 
The Mitsubishi G3M Type 96 Attack Bomber 'Nell' was the Japanese Navy’s main land based torpedo and high level bomber in the years before the start of the Pacific War.
