Posted on another forum, and noted as being taken in Rome, 1943. I added it here because it is a nice clear shot of a rare 38-A equipped with a folding bayonet.

One of the few modern guns in the Italian Army's arsenal, the Obice (meaning howitzer) da 75/18. The gun was well-thought of. IIRC, a somewhat more cropped version of this same  photo appears in the wartime US Intelligence manual on Italian weaponry.
