This is a photo of an A4 painting I did in 1984 as a colour illustration for a Book I had published on the Jagdtiger in 1999. About 100 hours art work here prior to computer colourised pictures.

German soldiers with their dog in combat zone. Dogs were used for typical chores, like sniffing out the hiding enemy, sending messages, first aid, etc.
