New accident, fortunately without serious consequences for the plane and for the people, of a historic war bird: on 26 May 2012, 16,20 LT, the front landing gear of the B-24A Liberator (in reality a RLB-30) of the Commemorative Air Force/American Airpower Heritage Fly Museum, civil registration N24927, failed during the landing at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, North Carolina. Minor damages to the aircraft, unhurt the 16 onboard.
