Nazi period Red Cross Nurse's Badge, as worn at the throat by Nurse Elfriede Wnuk in an earlier entry.  Apart from "professional" badges, the Nazis had a series of Red Cross "honour crosses" - but these were, in practice, typically awarded to officials for conspicuous merit in the performance of their duties rather than for any purpose specifically related to the German Red Cross, or to medical matters in general. German tank destroyer Jagdpanzer IV L/48 rotting away in south eastern Bulgaria. Only six items are known to have survived WW2, so it's quite a value rusting there. Once delivered from Germany to Bulgaria this vehicle (and lots of others) were dug in in Cold War times to protect the Bulgarian-Turkish border.

 Can't tell whether these are M-48, or M-60 series Tanks, as the only real difference is the Hull Glassis which is rounded for the 48, and straight across for the 60. This is what Tankers called the Bad old Days, when Armor, and Munitions technology was nearly equal, and the first to hit the other guy was in most cases, the winner.
