Hiroo Onada(right) and his younger brother in 1944. Hiroo died aged 91.In 1945 Hiroo wasn't done fighting.He hid in the forrests of Lubang Island (Phillipines) until 1974,because he couldn't believe the war was over.It was his old commander who talked him out of the woods in 1974.He was repatriated to Japan as a hero.
