The aircraft in foreground of this photo taken by an Allied fighter-bomber strafing some German airplanes on an airport of Eastern Germany is a Savoia-Marchetti S.81 of Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana’s Gruppo “Terracciano” (“Terracciano” Group). A Camioncino Fiat 1100 Militare in front of a Regia Aeronautica’s transport aircraft Fiat G.12. The vehicle of this photo is likely of civilian origin: note in effect the shape of the doors, different from the doors shape of the “1100” of the prior picture. Built from the Fiat 508C’s on two subsequent series named “Musetto” and “Musone”, different for the shape of the grill and of the bonnet, engine four cylinders Fiat type 108L, 1089 cubic centimeters, 30-HP at 4.400 turn/min, the Camioncino Fiat 1100 was produced until the first years after the war.
