Members of the junior branch of the Hitler Youth - the Jungfolk - on Summer camp, deliver the "German Greeting". Even at this age, Summer camps like this concentrated on the more energetic and physical end of boy scouting, carrying a proto-military edge, as well as indoctrinating young minds with Nazi ideology. Many parents, still suffering from the effects of the post-1929 economic crash, welcomed the HJ's activities as a useful contribution to their children's education. For more than a few, that education would conclude on the battlefields of WW2. Best regards, JR.
