In June 1936, at a League of Nations meeting the deposed emperor Haile Selassie of Abyssinia protested the Italian invasion of his nation. Italian jornalists whistled and catcalled during the emperor's speech, in the confusion a spanish jornalists was wrongly arrested as one of the agitators; when he loudly continued to declare his innocence, policemen clapped their hands over his mouth and took him to the police station. Capa was there to capture the moment.
