Fw-189 'Uhu'

An Amiot 143 in German service, probably one of the few that were used as transports by the Luftwaffe after the armistice. Exact place and date unknown.

... as the song says.  Destruction in central Rotterdam, May 1940, following the complicated screw-up that resulted in the bombing of the area by some 90 Heinkel III medium bombers.  With due respect to present-day Rotterdam, following the "modernist" rebuilding, it really could be Anywhere ... In sadness, JR.
