Fuselage of a former Italian Regia Aeronautica’s Macchi MC.202 “Folgore, aircraft military code MM9691, commandeered by Luftwaffe after the Italy’s Armistice (8 September 1943), during assembly’s operations with the aid of an hoist. Note the two peoples on the photo: a civilian and other person with an uniform which not seems of German’s forces. The Germany, after the Italy’s Armistice, seized near MC.202s allocated part to Croat Air Force, part of Luftwaffe’s Fighter School. The plane, “Black 16”, of this photo (1944) is an aircraft of Jagdgeschwader 108 (JG108) formed 1 Jul 1943 in Bad Vöslau from Flugzeugführerschule A/B 62 with 1./JG108, 2./JG108 and 3./JG108 plus 4./JG108 formed Jun 1944. The JG108 was disbanded 25 Mar 1945.Victor Sierra
