Princess Louise's (New Brunswick) Hussars

The British Columbia Dragoons were comprised of men from the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada.  The volunteered from Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton area of the Okanagan Valley and were converted to an Armoured Regiment shortly after this photo was taken.  They served with distinction in Sicily, Italy and Northern Europe until the end of the war.  Eighty Five of these men were killed in action with many more being wounded.
