Part of a train on the railway line between Novska and Zagreb, Croatia, Yugoslavia, explodes during an attack by Mustangs of No. 213 Squadron RAF at this time based at Biferno, in South-Central Italy. Equipped with Mustang (Mk III and MK IV) from Spring 1944, the No 213 Squadron was based at Biferno/Termoli from 13 July 1944 to 23 January 1945 embedded on 254th and 283rd Wing of Balkan Air Force. The allied forces want to drop this flyer in Germany but heavy wind blows the flyers on the wrong side of the border.My father found the flyer and always kept it.

Allied flyers 

H.M.S. Adventure was in the Thames Estuary on 13th November 1939 escorted by the destroyers H.M.S. Blanche and H.M.S. Basilisk. There she was damaged by an underwater explosion at  - almost certainly the result of activating a magnetic mine which had been laid by one of four German destroyers Z18, Z19, Z20 and Z21 only hours previously. Blanche escorting the Adventurer also struck a mine and capsized becoming the first RN destroyer loss of ww2
