Slightly uncertain provenance.  A photo of a training exercise in "northern Britain", early 1940s; possibly Canadian Highland troops, with spanking brand new Universal Carrier.  The wall being walked upon in this snow-dotted landscape looks suspiciously like an "outdoor relief" structure, constructed as "make-work" schemes during times of privation in the early-mid 19th century.  Even possible that this is in Northern Ireland, which contains notable examples of this sort of structure.  Best regards, JR.
