Flush out an enemy cave

US soldiers snipe at Japanese positions near the Burma Road. They are the men of MARS TASK FORCE, 5332nd Brigade (Provisional). They were issued light gathering night scopes called "sniperscopes" and "snooperscopes" to improve night marksmanship; Burma, 1944-45.

   Soon after, heavy rains threathened to sweep the "bridge" away. Mules were unpacked and led across one at a time, while men carried the supplies.
