In April 1945 LIFE it has edited version of this Capa photo that blocks out faces of soldiers. Here is unedited image. Chap on right received a fatal sniper shot to forehead minutes after this photo was taken.

There is a famous image of "three dead Americans" from Life Magazine's George Strock on Buna Beach. This image seems to be from that series but is of a fourth American. One can make out the other 3 bodies up the beach. The 3 dead were reportedly shot by a MG as they emerged from the jungle from a Machine gun in front of them. But, this fourth GI is behind them and turned towards them.
