An M4A3E2 "Jumbo" Sherman with the stock 75mm gun of the 743rd Tank Btn, Altdorf, 27th November 1944. It has sandbags covered with hessian and possible turf on the glacis..  The effectiveness of this applique armor is questionable, certainly against kinetic energy rounds.  But maybe it might have some effectiveness against HEAT...
