Irish soldiers who volunteered to fight for the British during WW2. 
Considered deserters and traitors by many at home, these men risked their lives fighting in the western theater, and from all accounts proved to be very able soldiers.

Irish Infantry

Members of Seri Thai, an anti-Japanese resistance group from Thailand, in Chicago during the 1940s. These men were given training by the American OSS (precursor to the CIA) and intended for top secret work against the Japanese and the Axis Thai military.
