Hoshina Zenshirou

Vice Admiral Hoshina Zenshiro, chief of the Military Supplies Bureau of the navy autorized the secret yagani missions with Germany, after the atomic bombs of hiroshima and nagasaki he supported the emperor decision of surrender, in 1975 he published Dai toa senso hishi (A Secret History of the Great East Asia War) The work consists of Hoshina’s wartime memoirs, which cast light on important developments within the core of the navy during the war. According to Hoshina, he opposed war with the United States, and once the conflict broke out, he sought the timing and methods to end it as soon as possible under favorable terms and conditions, he died in 1991 with 100 years of age
