Hungarian Royal Guardsman and in background the Royal Palace of Budapest. Completed by the great king of Hungary Mathias Corvino, that married Beatrice of Naples, the palace was inspired to the Italian Rinascimento and many Italian humanists, artists and craftsman were called to work on it. It's one of the best Rinascimental work of arts over the Alpes. I've been there about 60 years after this photo, when I still was an happy boy. DVX

These tanks belonged to Hungarian 2nd tank division that was surrounded in Budapest. A Toldi I tank is the foreground and a Turan is located on the railroad platform.
