French Armored Car

This Mureaux 115 of G.A.O.507, the recce group assigned to the 5eme D.L.C. (Light Cavalry Division), was shot down near the small french village of Obergailbach (a couple hundred meters from the French-German border) by a Bf109E of JG53 on September 20, 1939. The pilot and observer were only slightly wounded and had already been taken to hospital when these french soldiers posed for this picture.
