In May 1940, there were still around 20 Farman 222 in service with the French Armee de l'Air. This obsolete 1937 bomber could carry a bomb load of 5 tonnes and it had a max speed of 320 km/h, armament consisted of 3 MG's. Note the man standing below the left engine, it gives a good idea of the sheer size of this plane.
