First lieutenant Olavi Laine from JR 52. He was tied to a tree and wounded to several places with a beyonet. Omelia, July 24, 1941. SA-kuva 28347 Jaakko Olavi Laine, born 1905 in municipality of Sääksmäki, was a shopkeeper from Helsinki, who was married with one child. His unit was 6th company, 52nd Infantry Regiment, 14th Division, which fought in area of Repola at the time of the incident. Lieutenant Laine died of the wounds in 35th field hospital 3 days after this photo was taken. He was buried to his birth municipility.
