Description
Jeeps of the 101st Airborne Division drive down Rue Holgate in Carentan, north-western France; June 1944.
The first jeep tows a 57-mm anti-tank gun of the 327th Glider Infantry Regiment. The second jeep carries medics of the 326th Airborne Medical Company, 101st Airborne Division.
The soldiers on the left side of the road also belong to the 327th Glider Infantry, identified by the Ace of Clubs on their helmet.
