Ygg, I agree it was only a few out of many that committed the atrocities. But look at how many those "few" killed.I totally agree that most german soldiers were just that, "soldiers". I also agree that the M3 was not the best tank to go into combat with. But remember that a lot of Russian tank crews did not get the training they needed and that could also be a reason for the poor perfomance of these tanks in Russia. These lend lease tanks were just to fill the gaps while the Russians moved their factories further east, and to help with the huge losses of their own tanks.
