The "senorita" is actually a Philippina. This photo was taken when the Escuadron 201 arrived in the Philippines on May 1,1945.The Philippina was the daughter of honorary Mexican Consul Alfredo Carmelo, a distinguished Filipino diplomat, artist and aviator.
