Stevey, The Germans did not batter the Jews but witnessed and did not intervene. Some German soldiers even complained that other soldiers ran to watch. I will post a picture with links.

When captured, he refused to expose his comrads and was hung two months before the end of the war. After wrestling with the thought of killing, which was against his religion, he finally concluded "...it is better for good men to do evil than evil men to do good". And I happen to agree with that. Stevey, let me add I've been to Munich twice, for work, and I work with a bunch of Germans. They are some of the most kindest,intelligent, friendly people I know and Munich is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever visited. It could happen anywhere to anyone. One advantage the Germans have over us is they HAVE persued their prejudices and followed them to oblivian. Where as other nations still live with the temptation.
