Fiamme Bianche, "white flames", because their white flame-shaped patches on collar. They were over 2000 youngest volounteers of 1926-27-28 born classes, enlisted in RSI Army in 1944-45. 
They saw, in general, few first line combat, but who of them saw it, gave the best of himself...
A unit of Fiamme Bianche is credited of firing the last gun shot of RSI, 8 of may 1945.
In the picture an officer is inspecting some Fiamme Bianche. As you can see, they're just kids...
