Present meets the future

During a journey to different parts of the Eastern front, Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini visited the citadel of Brest-Litovsk (Fortress), USSR, accompanied by German and Italian military dignitaries; August 26, 1941.
  Behind Hitler's right shoulder is Gen. Alfred Jodl, behind his left shoulder is Field Marshal Albert Kesselring. At the center, looking toward Mussolini is Gen. Wilhelm Keitel.
