Its not staged. In combat your trained how to deal in a combat situation. German soilders were very well trained and battle hardened.

austo- remember no matter how scared you may think they are, remember they are trained soldiers, this may not be staged, because if nobody aimed in the war not as many would be dead. you cannot tell.

The correct name and designation is: MP 38 , or MP 40. The digits stand for the initial production run, the MP of course for "maschinenpistole". The Mp 40 was a slightly simplified version of the MP 38. Impossible to tell which model this is in the...

I dont think the apparition in the top right corner is that of a ghost more likely muzzle flash from the barrel of the gun the soldier's position appears to be braced therefore it is likely he was firing a burst when this photo was taken.
