Hauptmann Felix Adamowitsch

Hauptmann Felix Adamowitsch (born November 20, 1919 in Salzburg/Austria), commander 3rd battery/Sturmgeschütz-Brigade 904. Knight's Cross awarded on October 20, 1944 for the destruction of 50 enemy tanks with his assault gun. Furthermore awarded the German Cross in Gold, Wounded Badge in Gold, Eastern Front Medal and General Assault Badge. After the war he became a Colonel in the West-German Bundeswehr and assistant commander of a tank brigade. He retired in 1979.
