Description

Oberleutnant (1st Lieutenant) Adolf \"Addi\" Glunz (1918-2002). He shot down 71 enemy planes (under which only 3 on the eastern front) including 19 four-engined bombers. 15 further aerial victories remained unconfirmed. Glunz was never shot down and has never been wounded on his 574 missions. He was once wounded though during an RAF bombing raid on Abbeville in April 1942 when he was taking a shower and he was hit by glass pieces from a broken window. Holder of the Knight\'s Cross with oakleaves. (ftg)

Of course, there's no denying the role Hitler played but I think he and the Nazi party just "lit the fuse" so to speak. It was a result of WWI. WWI was never really resolved fairly (thanks to the U.S. and the treaty of Versaille). Add to the the massive expansion of communism and BOOM. I hope today's German armed forces can take pride in their military history. I know me and all my buddies growing up here in Oklahoma always had the upmost respect for them. That's because our grandfathers knew first hand that they were first class soldiers and good men as well.

    thats is raely incrediable..... that figures show that how much the germans are prepared for the war and how efficent they are....
