Hurt is dumping everything to save weight of the a/c.  attacked just after delivering their payload by me 109's they had to fly 2hr back to Villacidro, Sardinia . 2LT Bennett received the DFC for landing them safe and sound. uncle al never wanted to tag along on another mission again!
